It was the afternoon of NYE, and I always see the same doctor so it was a one off appointment.. that may explain it. It seemed like I did something to tick her off... I didn't ask a lot of questions about my blood work because I looked at it 2 weeks ago. I do see a different nurse practitioner for hormone replacement stuff, but I've always been up front with the clinic about what I'm on. I've never had a problem before at this office.
I left feeling like I went through a free clinic with a doctor forced to be there. She was short and rude. I felt like I was in trouble the entire time and it was a medication refill appointment and blood results that were pretty good (just add fish oil and less sugar and exercise). So there was no reason to me to feel like I was a huge hassel in her day.
Everyone has a bad day so maybe she's nice otherwise but I wanted it noted in case she's treating others and confused elderly the same.

Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The doctor was rushed, dismissive, and did not seem attentive to my mother’s needs. My mother is 77 years old, was clearly in pain, and showing signs of shingles, yet the visit felt hurried and lacking compassion. Elderly patients deserve to be listened to and treated with care, and this was not the case during this appointment.
