He was very professional and for the first time someone explained to me what was going on with my eye. I now have an idea of what is going on with my flashes.

Sara R. Sirkin, M.D.
I was brought into the room by the nurse while the doctor was still in the room. She did not acknowledge me at all. She left and then came back probably about 30 minutes later to see me. She did not ask me how I was, she did not try to make conversation. The whole experience was very awkward and anxiety provoking. I find going to the eye doctor very scary because they're poking around at your eyes and it freaks me out and the doctor did absolutely nothing to put me at ease. The only words she said to me were instructions of what I was supposed to do next. She has terrible bedside manor. Then, she started coming at me with fluorescent yellow eye drops and did not explain why. I got a little upset because I don't love eye drops and I felt like things weren't being explained to me as they were happening. All she said was that I had to have the eye drops because my pressure was high. She did not explain anything about why the pressure was high or if it went down by the end of the appt.
