Oaklawn was founded in 1925 as a 12-bed hospital in a residential home, funded by a group of visionary philanthropists. Now, almost ten decades later, we’ve evolved into a highly regarded regional health care organization, licensed for 77 acute care beds and a 17-bed inpatient psychiatric unit. We’ve continued to be an independently owned not-for-profit hospital, with our main campus residing on the same site as the original hospital, providing facilities, equipment and technology that are usually only found at larger health systems.

We enjoy a reputation for advancing medicine and providing compassionate, personal care. Our service area includes Calhoun County and parts of Branch and Eaton counties with a medical staff of more than 300 providers representing over 55 specialties.

Got there about 6:30 am they had me out by 7:15 am staff was helpful and engaging. Thx
The nurses and staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable after an assault. Trying to navigate. They made me feel safe. And through l.
Waiting room was packed and but staff was very caring and very helpful.
Staff and nurses were great! The doctor... didn't seem to care at all. He told me my tests were fine and when I asked "so just a bad flu then?" He responded with "Idk, maybe" and that was it...Isn't it his job to have some kind of idea what's going on? Not just say Idk and leave?

Waited 4 hours in waiting room for 15 minute visit. Dr apologized for the wait said that we were doing things right and gave us an ace wraps. No X-ray because he had one day before but it still wasn’t finalized and no one could open the disc I brought Did offer a toradol shot but did not take one First time ever having any issue at ER. I understand waiting but people after us went in my sone just laid his head on me he was in pain. Other people were playing on phones and laughing but “in pain” went before him I am just disappointed. No one even took off the ace wrap to look at his knee.
Staff was not super friendly and it was slow so it's not like they were busy just trying to help patients.
