Dr. Vamsi Kancherla is a board-certified spine surgeon with both orthopaedic and neurosurgical fellowship training from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He provides evidence-based nonsurgical and surgical care for all spinal issues from the cervical to the lumbar spine.
Given his unique training, Dr. Kancherla has particular interest in artificial disc replacement, minimally invasive decompression and/or fusion, robotic & navigated spine surgery, and endoscopic spine surgery.

Good doc
Dr. Kancherla is the absolute best in every way! His bed side manner is second to none. I have never had a doctor that treated us with such respect and compassion. He performed a total disc replacement on my husband in August 2025. The surgery went great. Recovery was not easy, but 6 months out and he is doing great. Dr. Kancherla and his staff truly are the best. Excellent follow up care. And we drive 5 hours from north Alabama! I cannot say enough great things about him. Just the best!!!
