I came to NAO with hip pain. The hip orthopedist thought the problem might be with my spine & suggested I see Dr. Zate. He was respectful, unhurried, informative, and easy to understand . He thought my issue most likely is with my hip, but expressed availability if the need arises.

This was my first procedure with Dr. Zate. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. He verbally walked me thru the procedure and I was aware of everything as it was occurring. I definitely appreciated that approach. He also took, IMO, a more aggressive approach in treating the problem than previous practitioners did. And as a very active person I was very pleased with that! So far the results are very positive as well!

He is thorough in explaining everything he does while he's doing the testing. His bedside manner is excellent.

Dr Zate performed a nerve study on me by request and in support of a diagnosis by other staff. He is very systematic and thorough in his evaluation and explained everything he was doing and why. Even though he had a written narrative of my symptoms he still started his analysis by asking me about my symptoms and what led to them. He took the time to ensure he covered every important detail so he had all the pertinent information need to make a confident diagnosis.
