As a Psychiatric mental health Provider, Petra Lamla-Laban, DNP, takes a holistic approach in treating mental health disorders and believes that variable factors influence the functionality of a person. A person’s mental health diagnosis does not define who they are, but rather their needs. It is very important to not only focus on the patient’s diagnosis but also on the underlying contributory factors. The body, mind, and spirit are interconnected.
Outside of work Petra spends time with her family, friends and serves at the care and recovery group at her church. She enjoys music, traveling, and loves to cook, always learning and cooking new dishes from around the world.
