After my cataract surgery, my vision is better than I could haved even hoped to achieve. I had RK refractive surgery in the early 90’s, which complicates getting the correct refraction in lens. I now see 20/20 with both eyes without glasses. The results of my cataract surgery are beyond any expectation I had. Dr. Polack gets a 15 out of 10 rating from me. I highly recommend Dr. Polack!

I was referred to Dr Polack. My first impression wasn’t favorable for how he had handled an awkward appointment. I should have been seen by an ophthalmologist, not him. I was left feeling that he felt I had wasted his time. I understand that, and I can feel why he might of felt that way. Difference is that I would not make a patient ever feel that way. He strikes me as brilliant, confident, and your typical surgeon stereotype personality.

Dr did not so a Schirmers eye test and said I don’t have dry eye. I was tested twice in Gainsville and did not make tears. I was diagnosed twice with dry eye. Why did you sell me these vitamins for dry eye if you say I do not have dry eye!?? I do have dry eye. Otherwise the doctor was very good.

Very thorough and knows his stuff but lacks 'bedside manner'. Other than a quick 'hi, how are you', and 'see you next year', his only interaction is with his scribe making me feel like an inanimate object. If asked questions the response is short.

Dr. P, Schelby, Cassi and the rest of the staff were soo comforting and understanding. They answered all my questions and gave me much more info than I previously held. I could perhaps, never need to wear glasses again even though I have a stigmatism. He may want to try getting outside of himself and looking back in. Would he like being treated the same way?

My eyes have not been able to see this well, uncorrected, at a distance for the majority of the things I need to see for over 60 years. For targets within 15 feet I now have corrective lens bifocals to see my phone/laptop/ car dashboard and TV easily and comfortably. Sublimely better than my LASIK results back in the ‘90’s and far less expensive.

Dr. Polack has helped me with my Dry Eye condition and he did an excellent job removing cataracts from both eyes. He was very patient with me and answered all of my seemingly endless questions (I'm very detail oriented.) regarding the cataract surgery and made excellent recommendations for lens replacements at the time of my cataract surgery.

First experience and it was quick and easy. Will definitely recommend.

I could have had my cataracts removed last year but was afraid of the procedure. But as my eyes worsened I was willing to have it done. Dr Polack was kind and comforting from the initial office scheduling the surgery to the follow up on the second eye. The staff at the surgery center was wonderful and calming during the procedure. Great doctor but sometimes not that friendly

I was asked to come in early, which I did. However, I was waiting and seen first by tech well after my original time! Then, they bring me back and forth for test after dilated. Confusion, no communication. Wait, wait, sit. I finally get called for the Dr. 2 hours late. He comes in for 3 minutes! I am seeking a new Dr. and practice. My time and health id valuable but not with Ocala Eye.

I needed to see a specialist real quick , the doc from the ER they called and this Doc, saw me almost with in the a couple of hours.,
