Dr. Mark Torke, MD earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He then received his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin Medical School. After completing a one year general surgical internship at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, he continued there with a four year orthopaedic surgical residency. During that time he cared for many intercollegiate and Olympic class athletes.

Very polite, explained everything about what was going on with my knee. Explained the procedure he recommended and answered all my questions.

I love a doctor who is willing to just tell you like it is. It can be hard to hear from the patient end, but not mincing words really gets the seriousness of the situation across to me. Glad I found Dr. Torke.

He was so patient and kind. I am a nurse and we as nurses “know to much” He allowed me to voice my feelings and concerns while explaining everything to me.
