Dr. Vachtsevanos did a total knee replacement surgery for me in fall of 2023. The surgery went very smoothly and I'm very pleased with my recovery. It's been almost 3 months post-surgery, and I'm able to do all of my regular activities and hobbies. Dr. Vachtsevanos is very patient-oriented and answered all of my questions at every appointment. I highly recommend this surgeon!

Everywhere I go, as soon as people learn I’ve had shoulder surgery, they ask, “Dr V?” Then we all agree, “He’s the very best!” At three months post surgery I know I’m not 100 percent healed yet but life is pretty much back to normal already. Specialty Orthopedics is a very busy plsec. But everything and everyone is very efficient. Upon checking in, i was immediately taken for X-rays. Dr/. V came to the patient room in a very timely manner, the X-rays were available. Dr. V discussed my problems with my knees and wanted to know how and what I wanted my life style to be, giving me options instead of saying i needed to do thus or so. Fortunately for me, Surgery was not indicated, so I cannot comment on Dr. V's skill with the knife. But I was exteremely impressed with every single person I interacted with in his practice. Dr V wound up diagnosing my painful shoulder as bursitis and administered a Cortisone shot which has already begon to diminish the pain I had been experienceing. I am so thankful that I did not have a torn rotator cuff which would have required surgery and a long rehab / recovery period.
