I can't remember when I first met Dr. Barker. It has probably been 15 years or more. He has not only listened to me, he HEARS me! He is kind, caring and has a sense of humor, which I really appreciate. I will miss him greatly when he retires! I thought he would be with me to the end of my days. I wish him fair winds and following seas..Fish on!!

Dr Barker performed my meniscus surgery and is now assisting me with a shoulder injury. He’s very informative and direct with his diagnoses without being condescending which I truly appreciate. It’s also refreshing to see a Dr that actually listens to his patients and not dismissive of their complaints, questions, or concerns

I saw another surgeon who suggested I get different shoes and inserts to mitigate the severe pain in two of my toes. I tried that with no success. Dr. Barker took a look at the x-rays and my toes, and immediately knew I needed a surgical repair which he knew would be minimally invasive and fix the problem.

Dr Barker is so amazing, he really explains everything simply and gives such confidence in my care, I am grateful to be in such good hands.

Excellent choice as a surgeon. Wish he printed out instructions after post operative office visits. It’s a lot of information to keep straight between visits. His bedside can vary between visits. Sometimes he’s awesome, sometimes he doesn’t care to listen to the patient.
