He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and was selected to be a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his surgery internship at Riverside Methodist Hospital and his ENT residency at The Ohio State University, Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Columbus Children’s Hospital (now Nationwide Children’s).
