Dr. Bartel uses leading-edge surgical and non-invasive techniques to treat everything from arthritic conditions and foot deformities to traumatic musculoskeletal injuries.
It is Dr. Bartel’s primary goal to get patients back quickly to a pain-free, active lifestyle with minimal to no restrictions. Surgery is only an option when necessary, with physical rehabilitation and/or anti-inflammatory therapies (such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), cortisone or viscosupplementation injections) used when possible.
A Fox Valley resident for the last 25 years, Dr. Bartel actively supports the community and participates in various fundraisers and events.

Dr. Bartel was very compassionate. He explained the cause of my pain and how he could repair it.
He explained the injuries but I did not feel any empathy or good, clear directions of how to care for myself. They fitted me for a boot and sent me on my way. Nurse was nice and friendly but the doctor was bland.
Always kind and caring….I appreciate Dr. Bartel!
