Dr. Bartel uses leading-edge surgical and non-invasive techniques to treat everything from arthritic conditions and foot deformities to traumatic musculoskeletal injuries.
It is Dr. Bartel’s primary goal to get patients back quickly to a pain-free, active lifestyle with minimal to no restrictions. Surgery is only an option when necessary, with physical rehabilitation and/or anti-inflammatory therapies (such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), cortisone or viscosupplementation injections) used when possible.
A Fox Valley resident for the last 25 years, Dr. Bartel actively supports the community and participates in various fundraisers and events.

Dr. Bartel was very clear in his explanation and he very sincere and totally understood my medical situation. And, the surgery went very well. Dr. Bartel is a fantastic surgeon.
We have seen Dr Bartel on a few occasions and he has always been very nice and explains everything so we understand. This was our son's first surgery and he was well taken care of by Dr. Bartel and all the staff at Fox Valley Orthopedics. This is why we have come back here.
