Dr Bartel just performed my second bone fusion foot surgery yesterday. I've now had both feet done and he did a great job. He's really friendly and thorough with explanations and coming up with a plan. I'm very impressed with their surgery center in their South building in Geneva. Everyone is so nice and experienced there, and it's just like being in a hospital. They were very efficient and quick. I was in and out of there in a couple hours.

It is Dr. Bartel’s primary goal to get patients back quickly to a pain-free, active lifestyle with minimal to no restrictions. Surgery is only an option when necessary, with physical rehabilitation and/or anti-inflammatory therapies (such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), cortisone or viscosupplementation injections) used when possible.
