Dr. Bartel uses leading-edge surgical and non-invasive techniques to treat everything from arthritic conditions and foot deformities to traumatic musculoskeletal injuries.
It is Dr. Bartel’s primary goal to get patients back quickly to a pain-free, active lifestyle with minimal to no restrictions. Surgery is only an option when necessary, with physical rehabilitation and/or anti-inflammatory therapies (such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP), cortisone or viscosupplementation injections) used when possible.
A Fox Valley resident for the last 25 years, Dr. Bartel actively supports the community and participates in various fundraisers and events.

I was there for a second opinion, more or less. Dr. Bartel explained everything very well and answered all my questions. I will be returning to him for my surgery.
Very skillful, attentive. And patient with all my questions. It’s the second surgery he has done on me. I recommend him and Angie highly.
Dr Bartel is wonderful! He’s not only an amazing surgeon but he has a bedside manner that is extremely hard to find these days. He explains everything which put my mind at ease.
He spent a lot of time attending to us and making us comfortable with the procedure.
