Dr. Shetty earned his medical degree from the Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship and urology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, followed by a fellowship in Endourology and Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Iowa. His fellowship training emphasized advanced robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic techniques for complex urologic conditions.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Shetty has been active in research and education. He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented at national meetings on topics including surgical outcomes, quality of life, and innovations in urologic oncology and endourology.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Shetty enjoys spending time with his family, attending concerts, working out, and cheering on his beloved Detroit sports teams.
