I’m 42. I’ve never liked my gyno until Dr V. She’s direct but kind. She’s funny and makes me feel super comfortable. I’ve never felt rushed or like a number. I feel like she 100% has my best interest at heart. I hope I never have to change Drs.

Dr. V is very warm in her approach and even though I didn’t have many issues to discuss with her I got the sense that she would take her time to help me if I did.

She earned her Medical Degree from Universidad Técnica de Manabi, in Ecuador, her native country, and completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, NY, affiliated with Cornell University, Joan and Sandford I. Weill Medical College, where she graduated as Valedictorian in 2012.
That same year, she joined Unity OBGYN at Park Ridge in Rochester, NY, where she practiced for over seven years before joining Greece OBGYN.
Dr. Velastegui is fluent in English and Spanish. Her hobbies include traveling, either for pleasure or as part of medical missions, cooking, watching movies, and creating memories with her husband and two children.
