Zane Basrawala, M.D.

Dr. Zane K. Basrawala, M.D., is a board-certified urologist practicing with Urology Specialists of the Carolinas in Charlotte, North Carolina. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He continued his education at the UNC School of Medicine, graduating with honors as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, before completing his urology residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Basrawala specializes in a wide range of advanced urological treatments. His expertise includes robotic and laparoscopic surgeries for the prostate and kidneys, female pelvic medicine, kidney stone management, and no-scalpel vasectomies. He is also highly skilled in medical and surgical therapies for an enlarged prostate (BPH), including Xiaflex injections.

Throughout his career, Dr. Basrawala has demonstrated strong clinical leadership and a commitment to medical education. He completed the Physician Leadership Institute at CMC / Queens University and served as Chief of Surgery at CMC Pineville. Additionally, he shared his expertise as a lecturer for the Wingate Physician Assistant program and was recognized by Charlotte Magazine as a "Top Doctor."
