He's very good with my mother. She's 94 years old and treats her with the respect that she deserves, he also informs me of everything that needs to be done and how to do it. And if I have any questions he is ready to answer, I appreciate gonzaba and all the doctors, they have there. Thank you very much for helping me with my mother and my son.

Dr. Zahir Osuna was born and raised in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico, earning his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara School of Medicine, in Guadalajara, Mexico. He attended Eastern Arizona College in Thatcher, Arizona, and received his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, completing his Internal Medicine Residency at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg, Texas.
At a young age, Dr. Osuna was drawn to science and medicine and knew the importance of building long-lasting relationships with patients, as his father was a physician too. Being the son of a doctor, he was able to observe firsthand the significant impact that healthcare and physicians have on patients. He too wanted to help patients and make a positive impact in his community.
Dr. Osuna joined Gonzaba Medical Group in 2021. He was impressed by Gonzaba’s commitment to patient-focused quality care. Putting his patients first is very important to him. He loves the Gonzaba Medical Group culture, Como Familia, Like Family core values, and mission.
In addition to medicine, Dr. Osuna also has a passion for music. He plays the piano, drums, guitar, bass, and is known for his tenor saxophone talents, in his youth often performing in symphonic orchestras and jazz ensembles.
