Zachary Windrow, MD

Dr. Zachary Windrow, M.D., has over 26 years of experience in the medical field. He graduated from the University of Texas with a bachelor’s degree, went to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, and completed his residency in family practice and obstetrics at John Peter Smith Hospital.

Dr. Windrow grew up in Hondo, and after a few years of practicing in New Braunfels, TX, he moved “back home.” When he is not at the clinic or in the hospital, Dr. Windrow enjoys time on the golf course and spending time with his children, James, Emily, and Kate. He also enjoys the long days of farming and ranching alongside his brother, Dr. Matthew Windrow, and father, Dr. John Windrow.

Dr. Windrow’s area of expertise is family medicine, and he is credentialed with most insurance carriers. He is always accepting new patients and enjoys the continuity of care he can provide patients at all ages. Dr. Windrow sees patients at the Medical Clinic of Hondo on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and the Medical Clinic of Devine on Monday and Wednesday.
