Dr. Zachary Moore, MD received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Alabama, where he graduated magna cum laude. He graduated medical school and completed his residency at the University of South Alabama before completing his fellowship at American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.

Dr. Moore is passionate about medical mission work. Since 2012, Dr. Moore has provided medical assistance in Peru and Rwanda, and he has invested in local high school students who are interested in entering the medical field.
Dr. Moore was the team physician for University of West Alabama and helped take care of the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2021 season, providing his services on the sidelines. As part of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine program, he was faculty on the surgical skills assessment program for new sports fellows. Throughout his academic career, he has also done extensive research in orthopaedic medicine.
When he is not practicing, you can find Dr. Moore backpacking through national parks, restoring Jeep Gladiator pickup trucks, or traveling.
He was professional as well as informative. Very patient answering all questions. He didn’t make us feel rushed.
