Dr. Zachary Leonard has been with Advanced Center for Orthopedics & Plastic Surgery since 2012. Dr. Leonard is an Upper Peninsula native, having grown up in Iron Mountain. He received his bachelor of science from the University of Michigan. Dr. Leonard received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. He then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Lastly, Dr. Leonard completed his fellowship at the Michigan Lower Extremity Center in Pontiac, Michigan.
Dr. Leonard focuses on lower extremity injuries and conditions. This includes hip, knee, and ankle pathologies. Dr. Leonard is on staff at UPHS-Marquette, UPHS-Bell (Ishpeming), Baraga County Memorial Hospital (L’Anse) and Upper Peninsula Surgery Center (Marquette).
Dr. Leonard serves as a team physician for Northern Michigan University and Marquette Senior High School.
In his free time, Dr. Leonard enjoys golfing, biking, downhill skiing, water skiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, and spending time with his family.
