Today I had my first visit with Dr. Yusra Siddiqui for an eye exam in preparation for cataract surgery, and I couldn't be more impressed. Dr. Siddiqui is an exceptional eye specialist who made me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire process.
She took the time to explain every option available to me, ensuring that I understood the details and could make an informed decision about my care. Her thoroughness and clarity in communication were truly reassuring.

I know it’s not her fault. Maybe booking too many appointments but I had a 10:00 and was seen at 11:45. Not good for business. Just gave recommendations to a friend looking for good dr and I sent her Dr Siddiqui’ info but having second thoughts now! Sorry!

They check me every thing was fine after surgery they don’t accept insurance why they didn’t tell me before see the doctor provider is very rude

She also specializes in corneal cross-linking, corneal transplants and glaucoma treatment including minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS).
Dr. Siddiqui was born in Chicago but raised in Houston where she attended the University of Houston. She was awarded the Terry Scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology. She received her M.D. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she received the Silver Scalpel Award. She then went on to complete a Cornea, Anterior Segment and Refractive Surgery fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Siddiqui practiced for nearly 3 years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston, where she actively participated in medical student and resident education.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, yoga and spin classes.
