This is not an automated or fake comment, I really was a patient of Dr. Siddiqui. The experience I had with her was above all superior and very exceptional. This was actually my first time visiting Kleiman Evangelista Eye Center for a problem I was having with terrible irritation, eye redness, and blurred vision all happening just in my right eye. My appointment actually was with a different doctor who running a little behind, but due to the painful condition I was in Dr. Siddiqui filled in her place so I could be seen as quickly as possible which now I feel very fortunate that things turned out that way. My consult and examination with Dr. Siddiqui went wonderfully and better than expected. She took the time to explain everything to me in detail and answered all my questions and concerns very patiently, with her I didn’t just feel like a number so I was sold, Dr. Siddiqui is a keeper, I’ve permanently found my new eye doctor! She totally ROCKS! And her assistant Val rocks too! 🤘🏽

Dr. Yusra Siddiqui, M.D. specializes in cataract, cornea and refractive surgery. As a board certified surgeon, Dr. Siddiqui performs laser-assisted cataract surgery, advanced technology intraocular lenses, LASIK. She also specializes in corneal cross-linking, corneal transplants and glaucoma treatment including minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS).
Dr. Siddiqui was born in Chicago but raised in Houston where she attended the University of Houston. She was awarded the Terry Scholarship and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Psychology. She received her M.D. degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston where she received the Silver Scalpel Award. She then went on to complete a Cornea, Anterior Segment and Refractive Surgery fellowship at Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Siddiqui practiced for nearly 3 years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston, where she actively participated in medical student and resident education.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, yoga and spin classes.
