Very professional. It was very obvious that he had studied my records before my appointment. Went over test results in a way I could understand. Showed and explained pictures of MRI. Answered my questions. Expedited the next test and treatment due to my continued pain..

Born and raised in Brazil, Dr. Pompeu began his academic journey at Murray State, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and completed 4 years in the Division 1 Tennis team. He then earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Florida where he worked on enzyme structure and immunology. Following this, Dr. Pompeu attended Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine.
Dr. Pompeu completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023.
