Dr. Pompeu was Wonderful!! He diagnosed my hip problem (bursitis), gave me an injection, and it has been perfect every since!
I will certainly return to him if needed in the future and highly recommend him!!

Born and raised in Brazil, Dr. Pompeu began his academic journey at Murray State, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and completed 4 years in the Division 1 Tennis team. He then earned a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Florida where he worked on enzyme structure and immunology. Following this, Dr. Pompeu attended Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA, where he obtained his Doctor of Medicine.
Dr. Pompeu completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, from 2018 to 2023. He then pursued a spine surgery fellowship at Norton Leatherman Spine in Louisville, KY, from 2023 to 2024, further honing his expertise in spine surgery under the guidance of world-renowned mentors.
