She said and I quote “I can tell by looking at you that you are weak and fragile. You’ve probably been weak and fragile since you were a baby.” She kept cutting me off when I would say something to her. Only read the summary notes from when I was in the er 4 months ago. Didn’t look at my mri imaging to even confirm it was read right she only looked at the notes. Then told me that whatever I have going on is not neurological and it’s most likely related to being a mom and being tired. My whole right side of my body is tingly pretty much every day for the last 4 months. I waited 4 months for this appointment and was brushed off yet again.

Dr. Young Min (Mindy) Song, M.D., earned her medical degree from Chungnam National University in South Korea. She completed her internship at St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and her residency at Barrow Neurological Institute, also in Phoenix. Dr. Song completed a clinical fellowship in neuromuscular and electromyography at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Song is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Song is fluent in Korean and joined the Center for Neurosciences in 2010.
