Dr. Young Ah Lee, M.D., PhD, is board-certified in Pediatrics, Headache Medicine, and Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology. She earned her medical degree at Seoul National University College of Medicine in Korea in 1995. Dr. Lee relocated to the United States, where she completed a Pediatric Residency at St. John Hospital, Michigan, in 2012, and a Pediatric Neurology Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in 2015. She was an Assistant Professor and Neurodevelopmental Program Director at William Beaumont Oakland University Medical School from 2015 to 2020. Dr. Lee has been a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona, Department of Neurology, since 2020.
Her clinical interests include pediatric headache, epilepsy, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dr. Lee joined the Center for Neurosciences in 2023.
Concerned and efficient
Very thorough and focused on solutions. Very educational on the subject and friendly ad well.
She continuously blew off all my concerns and was literally trying to run out the door when it came time for me to ask questions at the end of the appt. She just kept telling me “OT will work on that” and that she would document my concerns in my daughter’s chart….
Dr. Lee was very attentive and asking questions. She answered all questions we had and concerns.

We love Dr. Lee. She is personable, addresses all concerns if you have any, listens to you and your child and makes you feel comfortable.
