Dr. Yolanda Safford Jones, M.D., was born and raised in Augusta, GA, and is a proud graduate of A. R. Johnson High School and Spelman College. She obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed her Pediatric residency at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia.
Dr. Safford is board-certified in Pediatrics. She joined our practice in 2018 and can be found at the Evans and Grovetown offices.
She is married with three sons and enjoys volunteering, traveling, foodie adventures, and spending time with her family.
She is a great Doctor. When I say I’ve been to many doctor even for myself, actually listen and handles everything.
Waiting over an hour after scheduled appointment time is unacceptable!
We love Dr. Safford Jones! She is great with our children, takes the time to listen and understand our concerns and develops a proactive plan to get ahead of things.
5 stars just isn't enough!! Dr. Safford is the best doctor there is to have. We love her dearly! She listens and addresses every concern. I leave the office feeling relief and that my kids are in the best of hands. She makes my kids comfortable and treats us all with kindness. I recommend her to anyone looking for a pediatrician. She is simply the best!!

Absolutely the best! The care, attention, genuine concern and compassion is simply unmatched! My children just smile when she enters bc she has such a warm and loving presence. As a parent, I leave feeling informed and comforted in knowing my children are in such great hands w her!
Dr. Stafford is truly a blessing. I never feel like just a patient — our visits feel more like reconnecting with a trusted friend, which is incredibly rare. Every experience with her is a consistent 10/10. She is always respectful, attentive, and professional. I genuinely appreciate her care and compassion, and she brightens our day at every appointment.
