OMG she acts like you are her only patient!!! Sits down talks to you with out ever looking at a computer. She does sooooo much more for you, on your first visit. She doesn’t make you wait to see her a second time to start treatment.she uses Ultrasound for her treatment,200% accuracy. No guessing , like other Drs . She goes the extra mile. You can watch your Ultrasound, and actually ask questions during this time, with answers!

Dr. Tefera listens to her patients. Your visit will not feel like a drive by because she's attentive, asks questions and ensures you are concerns are addressed.

There is no better physiatrist around! She is always on time for the appointment, thorough & compassionate in her examination. I never feel rushed. Her office staff was equally kind & caring. Truly you cannot find a better physiatrist.
I’ve worked with nationally recognized physiatrists when I worked at Johns Hopkins & Walter Reed National Military Med Center. Dr Tefera could be at either of these renowned institutions. She is excellent. I cannot recommend her more highly!

Great bedside manner communicates clearly knew the material and did not rush to sell me anything. Is she really wanted to understand what my goals were and priorities and then Taylor the strategy to that based on imaging that she had done during the visit and explain to me what she was saying in the imaging. I was seen early and she answered all of my questions. I was very pleased.

Dr. Yodit Tefera is a specialist in Sports Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She completed her residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia and Cornell. During residency she received the Distinguished Housestaff Award for her exemplary service and was selected as chief resident of the Cornell campus.
She completed an ACGME-accredited Sports Medicine fellowship at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. The fellowship included high level and exceptional training in musculoskeletal and regenerative medicine, as well as diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures.
Throughout her medical training, she worked with various levels of individuals ranging from high school to professional athletes. This included the care of professional basketball, college soccer, basketball, softball, track & field, and cross-country players.
In addition to working with athletes, she enjoys caring for patients of all athletic ability, helping them to return to their everyday activities. From her diverse training Dr. Tefera is able to effectively diagnose and manage acute, sub-acute, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions including sports-related and overuse injuries.
In her free time Dr. Tefera enjoys long distance running and has participated in several half marathons. She also enjoys discovering new cities, restaurants, and spending time with her family and friends.
