Dr. Ying C. Moyer, D.O., completed her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech and her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She and her husband completed their residency training here in Richmond at VCU and have two girls and a husky at home. Ying hopes to combine her medical knowledge along with her “mom knowledge” to provide her families and patients with the best care and is passionate about a team based approach (e.g. incorporating the family) with decision making in regards to their child’s care.

Dr. Ying C. Moyer, D.O., has been with Richmond Pediatrics since September of 2024. She completed her undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech and her medical degree at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She and her husband completed their residency training here in Richmond at VCU and have two girls and a husky at home. She loves exploring new restaurants, traveling, and volunteering at her church.
Bedside manner can be a little more serious than warm.
She is very clear and thorough. She communicates not only with the parent, but the child as well to make sure everything is understood by both.
Ms.Moyer is very sweet and kind. We love seeing her.
Disgustingly rude ! Do not take your children to her. She will overlook everything just to rush you out.
Told me my son had fever blister and that they are not linked to Herpes virus but from my understanding they are. Moved so quickly and acted as if I was supposed to understand. When I asked how long the blister was going to last, told me your guess is as good as mine.
She is amazing! Super knowledgeable and great bedside manner. I saw her because I had a very bad experience with another doctor at this practice and she made things so much better.

Excellent patient care and provided so much education and information. She was kind and empathetic to my baby's diagnosis. I really appreciate all the time she took to make sure I was informed and comfortable with the treatment plan. Im so glad I met her.
