Yelena Levina, MD

Dr. Yelena Levina is a fellowship trained orthopaedic hand and upper extremity surgeon. Dr. Levina is a graduate of Saint Louis University and earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Medicine. She completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the Atlanta Medical Center where she published literature in various journals about shoulder, elbow, and hand pathology and was the assistant Team Physician for Georgia Tech Baseball. Dr. Levina completed her fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute.

She has a particular interest in peripheral nerve surgery including endoscopic carpal tunnel release, Dupuytren’s disease, and treatment of shoulder, elbow, and hand arthritis including joint replacements. Dr. Levina’s interests also include treating sports injuries including rotator cuff tears/tendonitis, elbow and thumb ligament reconstruction, tendon transfers, arthroscopic surgery of the upper extremity, and fractures of the upper extremity in all ages.

Dr. Levina is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Society for Surgery of the Hand and the Georgia Orthopaedic Society.

Dr. Levina grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Levina enjoys staying active, attending sporting events, cooking, spending time with family and her dog, Isabella, as well as traveling and playing tennis.
