Dr. Yehuda "Yudi" Kerbel, M.D., specializes in the full spectrum of care for hip and knee arthritis—from non-surgical treatments to partial and total hip and knee replacements. He also provides second opinions and performs complex revision surgeries for patients whose previous joint replacements did not go as planned. In addition, he offers general orthopedic procedures, including knee arthroscopy for meniscus tears and fracture surgery to repair broken bones.
Dr. Kerbel earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in pre-medical studies from La Salle University and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He began his orthopedic surgery residency at Drexel and completed it at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an Adult Reconstructive Hip and Knee Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago — widely regarded as one of the most esteemed joint replacement fellowships in the country.

Dr. Kerbel is one of the most caring and thorough physicians I have ever had, EVER!! He made me feel confident about his plan for me and called me several times once I went home from the hospital to check on me and addressed a few medical issues that cropped up. If I had to leave a message for him, he got back to me as promptly as possible. He made me feel like I was his only priority and I really appreciated that. Dr. Kerbel is the best surgeon I've ever had, and I've had many surgeries in my lifetime.
He is a different kind of doctor from any of the multitude of doctors I have seen. Other doctors just want to keep me on drugs, not Dr Kerbel. He was very excited to find a fix for the excruciating pain I had been in for the last 10 years. He is incredibly compassionate and a pleasure to see!!

Dr. Kerbel did my knee partial knee replacement. He let me know everything that was going on. I also recommended Dr. Kerbel who has to get a knee replacement.
Dr Kerbel is wonderful. He takes the time to answer and explain all your concerns before you even get to express them yourself. He is very knowledgeable and has the ability to put your mind at ease. His new approach to knee replacement is remarkable.
Dr. Kerbel is always professional. He is kind and down to earth. He talk to you and explains explains everything so you completely understand. Answers all questions and takes his time. Dr.Kerbel is like the doctors of yesterday, the ones that really care about their patients, takes his time and doesn't rush. I would highly recommend him!
