Dr. Kerbel earned a post-baccalaureate certificate in pre-medical studies from La Salle University and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He began his orthopedic surgery residency at Drexel and completed it at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by an Adult Reconstructive Hip and Knee Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago — widely regarded as one of the most esteemed joint replacement fellowships in the country.

My first experience with Dr Kerbel. He was very attentive. Quickly set up appointments after the first visit. Follow up excellent. Told me the details of what would be done and then showed me details of what was done following my surgery. Would definitely recommend him to others.
Dr Kerbel is a very caring doctor. He place a temporary stimulator in my leg. He was very responsive whenever I called him regarding the stimulator and always called me back. He's very good at what he does and is helpful trying to alleviate my pain. I'm glad he is my doctor.
Dr. Kerbel is just wonderful. Personable, warm, professional and I believe, a cutting edge surgeon- no pun intended. His explanations are clear and there was thorough preparation for my knee operation. Everyone I spoke to at the hospital commented on how fortunate I was to have Dr. Kerbel as my surgeon. His results are supposed to be excellent.
Once I met with Dr.kerbel he gave me all the time I needed to go over options for my issue. It definitely helped get over the long wait to see him.
