Yan Shibutani, MD, FACS

Dr. Yan Shibutani, M.D., F.A.C.S., earned his bachelors degree in Biologic Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania in 1983. He completed his medical degree at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University in New York in 1987. He completed his internship and residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in 1987. He has been a proud member of the staff at Abington Memorial Hospital since 1993. Dr. Shibutani is board certified by the American Board of Urology and a member of the American Urological Association. He has been an active member of the Temple University School of Medicine Urology residency program since 1993. He is involved with training residents from Temple at Abington Memorial Hospital. Recipient of the Abington Memorial Hospital Ambassador Award.
