I met Dr. Pope many years ago in the ER with a fractured ankle and he was very kind and considerate that day. I could not have asked for a better doctor and recovery from that accident. Since then he is the only Doctor that I will call to help me with a bone problem and he has definitely helped me. I have had a problem with my left arm and here again he has always been there to help me. I would highly recommend Dr. Pope and his staff to anyone. My appointment was scheduled for 9:15 and I had X-rays and spoken with Dr Pope and sent downstairs to get a splint for my hand and I was out of there at 10:17. If he can't do exactly what you ask, he will find a middle ground. Doesn't judge you on past mistakes and trusts what you say as the truth. I have been with Dr.Pope for 12 years now and came to him with simple joint pain all the way up to an extra muscle. I went to see another doctor several years ago also about my knee. He simply told me I was too heavy and to look into gastric bypass surgery. He offered no other conversation about how to relieve knee pain right then. Dr. Pope discussed bypass surgery with me, but also told me things to do right now to help with pain management. I left Dr. Pope’s office much more hopeful in my search to find ways to take care of my knee issues. I have already recommended him to a colleague of mine.

I am really pleased with Dr. Pope and his PA Brandon Cantrell. They alternate who you see, so you get to know both of them equally well. I had broken 4 bones in my ankle, and I'm walking in 8 weeks! They performed the surgery very well. Brandon is a little more personable than Dr. Pope, however, both are nice and very experienced. Both are excellent physicians and will answer all your questions, even re-explaining if needed.
