Dr. Wood Pope is a homegrown board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with a particular interest in total joint replacements, sports injuries, fracture care, traumatic and arthritic conditions of the foot and ankle. Dr. Pope has published numerous orthopaedic articles and book chapters and has presented on a local and national level.
Dr. Pope enjoys working with our youth covering sporting events and providing athletic screenings for high school and college athletes and is a team physician for Mercer University and Stratford Academy high school athletic programs.

Dr.Pope treat you as he wants to be treated and it shows. He explained what was going on with me. He helped me to understand all of what I have going on with my Dr visit today. He is the best and my husband and I have trusted him in the past.He really understand what was going on with his patients.
