Checking in at Dr. Fong’s office was fast and wait time was not more than 10 minutes. Dr. Fong took his time in explaining my tests and answering questions. Should I have any future issues I’ll definitely see him again.

My first visit with Dr Fong was great. He was attentive, high energy, communicative, & answered all questions. I know doctors have a lot on their plate & are human’s with personal issues the same as others, but he was significantly different during my send visit. I saw him for only a few minutes; he appeared uninterested , asked a couple of short questions, told me I would be going to PT, no smiles. I was on my way. My surgery was very successful, which I’m grateful for.

I have seen Dr. Fong two times first time was 2016 and he was able to diagnose my back pain and the pain was managed for nearly 6 years without pain meds. Dr. Fong is a very skilled orthopedic surgeon. He has done 2 outpatient surgeries on my lower back. He seek ls out procedures that will postpone major surgery if possible. At my last visit which was last week however we discussed the fact that I have increasing and low back pain and discuss my options for that. I had to ask him to stop before he left the room as he did not address the pain management I needed. Are you having if I can back pain which got worse good night after I saw him. I tried to reach his office and got a call back and a message left they told me if I was having an extreme pain I should go to "an ER" and have it looked at. They did not specify McBride ER. I called and there we are to see what they would do and basically they would do very little. I was told the ER would possibly do an x-ray, in the practitioners in the ER might prescribe Tylenol 3 and send me home. Tylenol 3 would not even touch the pain I was having. So I didn't bother. I knew it would t

SINCE 2Q16 --I have been seen by 3 Pain Managemet Doctors,& it seems I have never improved!!It's apparent I should have been being seen by a Orthopedic Surgent,after having seeing Dr Fong!!! Today October 6th 2020.

Dr. Fong performed a lumbar fusion on me and every f/u appointment I kept telling him that I hurt and something was wrong. Finally, after 7 months, my pcp and I were talking and we decided on a MRI. My fusion had not fused. I felt that Dr. Fong was a little butt hurt that I had the MRI. Now, 1 1/2 years later, my L4 has slipped on my L5 and he is going to do another fusion.

Dr Fong did a great job communicating what he was going to do for the surgery on my lower back. After the surgery I no longer have any nerve pain in my back and legs. Still healing so there is still soreness from the surgery. Would recommend him to anyone.

Perfect surgery results! SO glad I had it done - no sciatica pain whatsoever now!
