He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia in Atlanta, GA. He then received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA.
Dr. Tung completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA. He further specialized his training by completing a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX.
