Dr. William Terrell is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who trained and completed his sports medicine fellowship at The Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia. His primary practice is located in Marietta, Georgia. He sees patients in the Marietta and Woodstock locations.
Dr. Terrell specializes in orthopaedic trauma and limb lengthening and deformity correction. He has traveled and studied internationally. He trained in Hanover, Germany with Dr. Harald Tscherne in orthopaedic trauma. He also received extensive studies in the Ilizarov Technique and has traveled to Kurgan, Siberia, where the technique was invented. He has also been an instructor on limb lengthening and deformity, both in the United States and abroad.
Dr. Terrell is very active in his community and has served as team physician to many area schools and sporting events. He has served as team physician for the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic Fitness Expo World’s Strongest Man Competition multiple times, team physician for the Georgia State Championship Wrestling Tournament, ringside physician in the USA vs. Russia Boxing Tournament, team physician for the Columbus Cottonmouths Hockey Team, and many other local sporting events.
Dr. Terrell lives with his wife in Marietta, Georgia and in his free time enjoys horticulture, water skiing, and weightlifting. He is also a featured speaker at many educational seminars and conventions.

Always the best care and concern given by Doctor Terrell and his team. I’ve always felt like I was in the best of care while being seen for my appointments. As well as, I feel as though I’m being given the best of medical advice by Doctor Terrell. He certainly does make me feel mentally , and emotionally comfortable when conveying my medical needs and my medical care . 💯❤️ If he wasn’t my Orthopedic Specialist he could and would be a great friend in Gods name . We need more people like him in the medical community. Sincerely

Potentially life-changing care from a doctor with true passion for his profession.
Dr Terrell is so excellent on what he does. I was expecting a needle stick like he always warned you prior to the stick but I didn’t even feel anything. It was a breeze. I was nervous for nothing. Staff were great as well. Billing is another story You better be very knowledgeable about your insurance and deductible. They were billing me the whole amount when I had already met my deductible. Just random billing with different amount on different days for same procedure.
