Finally had enough time to talk about meds and blood sugar. Jenn Meyers was outstanding as to paperwork , calling pharmacy and also changes to Byram for Libre 3. Not once did she seem overwhelmed. Lately he has been listening more. He said he noticed I was doing better, which I was. He told me I had to report to him what day my appointment was for a colon scan. But I didn’t know he had informed them of the rapid weight lost i suffered. But I noticed these doctors really don’t care. I lost 11 lbs in a month, and they finally left a message to schedule consultation, not real appointment for November 23. If I kept losing weight at this rate I’d be in hospital or dead before they saw me. Not doctor’s fault but can’t they send me to a doctor that cares? I’m 76 and really can’t spare the time. Pills doctor prescribed did the tick on my vomiting and I did gain some weight back but I still have no appetite. On Monday’s appointment I’ll know how he feels about scheduled 4 months away appointment.

Todays visit was scheduled yesterday because doctor would not be office 6/3. Took time but he was very thorough. Would say an “A plus” visit. Was even give a medication bag after 25 years plus of being a patient. First time and I hope it won’t be the last. They have many give away but when you can’t drive across town they become bull and void to me.

WOW, what I change from last time. Maybe complaints are listen to. Whole appointment was so different. Taken in at exactly 10 am, intake nurse, Larry, was so courteous and efficient. Checked high blood pressure twice. Second time with manual cup, as doctor does. Took all vitals clearly and reported findings. Outstanding. Doctor cane in, cordial. We talked. Expressed concerns. Dr. Gonzaba give lab findings, everything was fine. Asked about X-ray problem that was expressed to me and he went to re-examine X-ray and explained discovery. Nothing to worry about. It was the second time it had showed up in the films taken but had never been addressed. I bright it up this time and problem solved. Change meds for pressure, retook pressure, wrote changes and prescription, referral, and next appointment set. Office visite ended with a great feeling. Hope things go just as smoothly next time around. Outstanding visite.

Medications were reviewed and to have refills sent to designated pharmacy. I show up at pharmacy about 1 hour later and still no refills. I called and even used patient portal but to no avail. Then I finally get my meds and yes you guessed it. 3 Medications now monthly refills due to controlled categories and I was not given enough pen needles. So now I guess I won't be taking my Toujeo as prescribed. Does Dr.Gonzaba not realize or understand how hard it is to get message or refills.

Appointments are too hard to get. Two and three months too much. Nurses not returning calls which is an important part for patients care. Perhaps that call can calm. They just don’t seem to care.

Had to fight, scream, and cry to have this appoint made two/three months ago. They don’t clarify if in in office or phone. This is the second time that I’m mistaken where. Was a 7:50 appt. Spoke to his after 1 hour explaining to on phone why it was critical I saw/heard him. As usual staff doesn’t call or returns call.
