I have more pain now than I did a year ago. Neurosurgeon totally disagreed with Dr. Sutherland’s course of action and claimed Sutherland didn’t bother to read the EMG test. I did have Carpal Tunnel for the second time.

I felt heard going to him, and he was very kind. He couldn’t help me get the imaging I was hoping to get, and I left a discouraged and kind of at another dead end. But I can understand as it seems my issue is more likely neurological/systemic than orthopedic. Thankfully he ordered some investigational labs while I wait months for other specialists to have availability. Very nice of him. His MA was also a cut above the rest. Loved her.

He answered all my questions, scheduled me for Tuesday surgery. He is conservative in offering surgery which is rare in my case it is needed. Praying it will work. He upped my appointment from September 23 . And saw me early and got me in.

Dr. Sutherland is one of the best orthopedic doctors I have ever seen. He is thorough and takes the time to explain everything that is going on and asks if I have any questions.
