At the age of 12, a young Dr. William Stevens knew he wanted to be a doctor. When that dream was realized, he fell in love with the challenges and opportunities afforded by spine surgery. As a spine surgeon, he has the chance to have a life-changing impact on the lives of his patients by giving back to them, their quality of life.
Dr. William Stevens is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with his expertise in spinal disorders and received his Medical Degree from Brown University in Providence, RI. His post-graduate training includes a Fellowship in Spinal Deformity Surgery from UC San Francisco and Residency in Orthopedic Surgery and Internship in General Surgery from Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The North American Spine Society, the Scoliosis Research Society and the Orthopaedic Surgeons Network of Arizona.
In addition to his numerous publications and presentations, Dr. Stevens has traveled to the Bahamas several times over the past 12 years for surgical missions to perform corrective surgery on children with spinal deformities.

A true professional! I’ve been very comfortable with Dr Stevens! This is my second visit with him. He’s emits confidence and has the courage of his convictions. I trust him to perform my back surgery. He’s thorough with his various tests to make a sound decision! He answered all my questions regarding my surgical expectations. I am currently awaiting consultation from a rheumatologist before Dr Stevens goes ahead with the surgery. Thank you Dr Stevens for your kindness and patience!
We love Dr. STEvENS! HE did major back surgery on our son about 20 years ago. Our son is doing amazing Our appointment today for my husband was thorough and encouraging. Need to get MRI results to determine next steps. Thank you Dr. Stevens!
Just met with his PA this time...but they r a great team!
I made an appointment with him specifically for a consultation. Since no surgery was recommended, we never met or communicated.

Dr Stevens is an excellent surgeon and a really nice guy too! I wasn’t able to walk more than a quarter mile without pain and now when I’m walking I can walk up to 3 miles!! I am so happy he fixed me!
