Dr. William Rossy specializes in the management of all sports-related injuries sustained to athletes from all levels, ranging from high school through the professional ranks. During his fellowship program, he worked as an assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and the Boston Bruins.
He has vast experience in treating ailments of the shoulder, as well as complex multi-ligamentous injuries to the knee. He also has a particular interest and specialized training in hip arthroscopy and cartilage restoration procedures.
Dr. William Rossy offers the most advanced surgical techniques and aims to return his patients to their desired sports or activities in a predictable and reliable manner.
Dr. Rossy is a New Jersey native and comes from a family deeply rooted in healthcare. His father is a Family Practice Physician in Metuchen, New Jersey, and his sister is a Dermatologist here in Princeton. In addition to his practice at Princeton Orthopaedic Associates, Dr. Rossy also serves as a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Team at the Regional Medical Center, Capital Health System.

I saw Dr. Rossy for a knee issue and had a fantastic experience. He was extremely friendly, listened carefully to all my concerns, and didn't rush my visits. He developed a practical, highly effective treatment plan that is already helping me make progress. I highly recommend him.
After incorrect diagnoses by other providers, Dr. Rossy quickly diagnosed the problem, and effectively, and conservatively treated my problem the same day. The pain completely resolved in 2 days. Highly recommend!

Dr Rossy’s diagnosis was based on X-Rays that were taken in December 2025 Ironically, the Dr who read those X-Rays recommended hip surgery, Dr Rossy said it’s my back ! Who’s right ? I received a cortisone shot last time which helped tremendously, yesterday I got 10 Tramadol for pain and a recommendation for physical therapy I’m assuming that is not an overnight miracle cure and can take weeks before I have relief In the meantime, I guess I’ll have to try my best to endure the pain Very disastified with my visit
