I was a 4 year patient and my experience was great. Dr. Jonas was personable and attentative. He asks quesions and encourages you to call with any changes or concerns. My referral was for an extremely low neutrophil count, which was quite a concern. As well as an atypically low WBC count without me presenting any signs of an infection or any health issues. Which was another oddity. After a few labs (2nd year) we discussed that the atypical was my norm. Which was comforting because it makes a person feel like a patient and not a number. My inflamation markers were high at times, but no health issues. But we continued the labs. Overtime the neutrophil count improved and my WBC range would flucuate then become steady. Today my WBC is in normal range, although normal range is not my norm, but this was still exciting news that my immune system continues to work well.
