The PA and nurses were great. However, Dr. Jonas was standoffish, rushed and did not answer questions. Did not order blood work until I insisted. I would not return

I affectionately nicknamed him 'John Wayne' because he rescued me from dying from cancer. He could have just did the basic like some doctors with patients my age..With the attitude "they've lived a long life etc" But instead his attitude is if you'll fight, I will fight for you! And that's exactly what he has done and continues to do..He really love and care for his patients, he treats them like family and he has card for me like I'm his mom. I have been on this journey of breast cancer now for over 40 years. With the help of my God and him using Dr. Jonas as his tool I pray to continue enjoying life with my family for many more years. Didn’t even look at my case before meeting me. Which was obvious because he couldn’t remember my history. Didn’t show any compassion or empathy for my situation. He only cared about prescribing me a pill without discussing any other options (shots, etc). When I asked his medical opinion on which treatment to select he didn’t have one. Left feeling like a number to him instead of a patient.

His humor and honesty are much appreciated. I look forward to seeing him.

He pays attention, looks you in the eye, is concerned about you, and thoroughly answers your questions_ sometimes 3 times to be sure you understand.

Dr. Jonas graciously altered his schedule for an office visit to accommodate me after I was an hour late due to Interstate traffic. That is a courtesy I’ve rarely seen, and it was greatly appreciated. But, don’t count on such courtesies if you’re running late because the doctor has a tight schedule and it would be a great inconvenience to him to have to alter it frequently.

One of the most congenial and professional physicians this 80 year-old lung melanoma patient has ever had over that many years. Bedside manner is superb and yet he delivers the "news" about your diagnosis and recommended treatment in a most calm and professional manner. If the occasion arises that an oncologist is needed, I recommend this professional in the most enthusiastic manner possible.
