Dr. Jacobson earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa. During his fellowship, Dr. Jacobson worked with team physicians for the Minnesota Vikings, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Minnesota Twins. He continues his passion caring for athletes, leading Capital Orthopaedics as the team physicians for the Iowa Wild, in addition to high schools in the greater Des Moines area.
Active in the industry, Dr. Jacobson maintains memberships with the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine, American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, and Iowa Orthopaedic Society.
