Dr. William Harris, D.O., earned his medical degree at Lincoln Memorial University, and completed his residency at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences. He then finished his fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the same institution. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a former U.S. Air Force surgeon, Dr. Harris specializes in PAD, aortic aneurysms, and carotid disease. He is an RPVI-certified expert in diagnostic ultrasound and advanced surgical techniques for complex venous and arterial disorders.

Dr. William Harris, DO, FACS, RPVI, s a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon at the Vascular Institute of Chattanooga. A fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the Society for Vascular Surgery, he is also a leader in the use of ultrasound to accurately diagnose venous disease.
Dr. Harris provides comprehensive care for patients using advanced endovascular and surgical techniques. His clinical focus includes peripheral artery disease (PAD), aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and complex circulation disorders. He emphasizes early detection and intervention to prevent complications such as stroke, limb loss, and chronic wounds.
Prior to joining VIC, Dr. Harris served as a surgeon in the United States Air Force, gaining extensive experience in high-acuity vascular care.
Dr. Harris is an assistant professor at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and Lincoln Memorial University and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) and the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery (SCVS).
