Dr. Krauss correctly diagnosed a fracture in my heel after a quick look at my X-ray. Previously this had been misdiagnosed as plantar fasciitis. Thanks so much Dr. Krauss!

I will say this, Dr Krauss deserves a 10 star rating for being one of the absolutely best doctors in Birmingham Al. Dr Krauss is very compassionate and will take the time to listen to your problem then with precision care will execute the problem and tells you eyeball to eyeball what he can or cannot due for his patients in order to resolve the reason for there visit..And Dr Krauss has a good sense of humor, when you put these two things together you have an Angel in disguise! Thank you Dr Krauss!!

Dr. Krauss was very professional. I think there was no long waits. His entire staff was very good.

After his graduation in 1987, he attended medical school at the Ohio University of Osteopathic Medicine. Subsequent to earning his D.O. degree, Dr. Krauss began a one-year rotating internship at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, followed by a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery which he completed in 1996. At that time, Dr. Krauss moved to Birmingham, Alabama to pursue a one-year fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the American Sports Medicine Institute, which he completed in 1997.
