I’m sick of Doctors always saying lose weight that not always the problem I would like to know what they tell the skinny People with the same Problem cause I see all sizes with the same Problem it took Him 2 minutes to read my MRI and tell me to loose some weight and say I’ll put in for you some epidermal shots 😞☹️☹️

I had never had back issue and pain made walking up steps unbearable. Dr. Brooks diagnosed my injury and treated me quickly and I have no pain. He even called me personally when an issue came up about the radiologist. He is personable, pleasant and trustworthy. Thank you, Dr. Brooks!!

Very fine Dr., have been to Dr. Brooks several times for back injections . I have always been pleased with his service and his staff. Absolutely very deserving of the 5 star rating .

Dr Brooks , after realizing that therapy was only giving temporary relief of my nerve pain, ordered an MRI . After reading it, determined that my problem wasn't sciatica as first diagnosed, but was a herniated disc. He pressed my insurance for clearance to do surgery, even though I had not completed the standard number of therapy treatments. The day after Dr. Brooks's surgery, I was free of the nerve pain that had me debilitated for over forty days.

Dr. Brooks helped me understand some symptoms I’ve been experiencing. He made a plan to help me. Hopefully these plans/tests will bring some relief and help with my anxiety and stress.

I had back surgery and doctor brooks removed six herniated disc and one in my tail bone march 2, 2022. And put in what i needed on my spine and i'am so happy and healing and feeling 90% better then i was. Thank you doctor brooks and your team.

Dr Brooks was VERY unprofessional during the last visit, ie the comments he made during the visit to the patient. He left the exam room saying he would return with a note to update place of employment, however he did not return nor did he return to say let the patient know he WAS NOT RETURNING to the conclude the visit When asked his clinical nursing staff "He is with another patient and is NOT coming back" The Warner Robins Staff including the nurse/MA was very UNPROFESSIONAL, short, and curt.

While I am blessed to have been accepted as a patient, Dr. Brooks was Kurt, distracted and clearly had somewhere else to be. I didn’t have time to ask questions before I was rushed out and handed over to another practice.

He scrolled through the MRI without stopping and pointing out damage. As a physician he knows what he viewing, however, as a patient—I don’t. He needs to take a few moments to explain. He seemed to not care because he didn’t come in with a friendly greeting. Then his responses to my questions seemed “cold”. He would simply reply, “sure”. I wouldn’t recommend this physician.

Dr. Brooks is the best. He performed a flawless 2-level cervical fusion and I'm going back for a L5-S1 fusion... I have absolute faith in his abilities.

Seemed disinterested. Had MRI results on the screen but didn't point out specifics of where the problems were. He said I had bad arthritis but didn't point out where it was. Didn't ask me if I had any questions. No recommendations as to what to so next. poor communication skills.

I met him for the first time when he discussed my MRI results. He went so quickly; I left the appointment feeling like I didn't even have a chance to process the fact that surgery was needed much less ask any questions about the procedure. Ten minutes later, in the lobby, I thought of plenty of questions I wanted answers to, but the appointment was over.

Great doctor who has your best interest

Smart - to the point - easy to deal with.

I had an initial evaluation by Dr Brooks due to lower back pain. He reviewed the Xray with me and we discussed potential courses of action. He also gave me an injection to lower the pain. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly.

He listened and was extremely helpful! He cured a lot of what had been hurting for years including the constant tingling of my left arm (elbow to fingers. I highly recommend Dr. Brooks!

He is a great surgeon and for the most part he fixed me 99% any flare-ups or anytime you feel like you're unable to work he will not sign off on your papers he will only sign off for your two hour doctor visits. One spoiled Apple spoiled it for everyone. I would like for him to spend more than 5 minutes talking to his patients, get to know them and you will truly know and understand your patients. This is just my opinion.

Dr,. Brooks was not very friendly when I had my procedure.He arrange for this procedure 5 months ago, so you would think that he would at least say hello and go over what he was going to do during the procedure. He said nothing the entire time.

He is great with my 16 year old daughter. He worked through all conservative measures for three years never pushing us for surgery but then once we made the decision for surgery he was awesome. Very thorough and walked us through everything.

Dr. Brooks was late the morning I received the injection. I was there at 7:15 and had to sit around waiting for him. The nurses and support people were very good. I was positioned for the injection. But he never said he was there. Not even a good morning! What a jerk! I know it was an epidural , a minor procedure but damn! When I have the follow up appointment is over. I am done with him. I saw all his diplomas from the major med schools but was not impressed. I will not recommend him !!!

Great doctor and staff. In fact, all of the doctors I've had contact with are great professionals.

Dr. Brooks recommended surgery and failed to provide me with necessary information to make an informed decision, ie did not explain significant risks involved, did not mention alternative treatments until asked. Then, he provided a short answer, lacking in important details. He had little knowledge of my case (failed to review chart?) as he was unaware of a failed treatment that he offered as an option and the treatment was accomplished at OrthoGA. All pts deserve to be adequately informed!
