I recently had a disappointing experience at Dr. Wilfred S. Kearse's office. While the doctor himself was fine, the receptionist was incredibly rude. As I checked in, I overheard her laughing and making fun of me with another receptionist because I chose to visit this doctor instead of one closer to where I was coming from. Her behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, especially in a healthcare setting. Other patients in the waiting area heard it too and were visibly shocked. It's unfortunate to see such conduct, and I hope the clinic addresses this issue promptly. After Covid, it seems like they're just hiring anyone, and it's affecting the quality of patient care.

Didn't follow through with most of the things mentioned pre-surgery. Didn't follow up after surgery even though discharge instructions specifically said the office would reach out to me.

He is very concerned. , friendly and opptomistic. Everyone in his office including himself are very professional and seem to hold themselves to a higher set of standards than alot of the practices that are our there. I feel fortunate that that is where I was referred. Sincerely, James Merkel

Excellent Doctor

I think Dr. Kearse understood my concern and reason for a urology visit. However, I felt rushed during my visits with him, was often interrupted (cut off) from speaking, and felt a need to speak fast with Dr. Kearse. A pervasive feeling is that I felt dismissed by him; I wanted him to be more understanding. My experience of his bedside manner was rather poor and in need of improvement. Ultimately, I left my visits wishing I had better insurance to see another urologist. I will seek a second opinion in the near future. Note, by no means was Dr. Kearse unprofessional. I experienced him as professional, though as I mentioned above, rather rushed and dismissive.
