Misdiagnosed my kid’s fractured wrist, and sent us on our way feeling I listened to and with no information. I followed up with a different doctor two days later and there was clearly a fracture - she is now casted and much more comfortable after a miserable few days. Dr. Owen might be great one day, but he desperately needs more experience and guidance on talking to patients and caregivers.

This was my first time at Campbell clinic. He asked me preliminary questions before jostling my knee around to text is which was great but then after that he told me what he thinks I should do and he would ask me questions during this time about how I want to do medication but he wouldn’t let me answer because he just kept talking and going to the next topic, and then I had another question, and before I could ask it, he was out the door. He didn’t really seem to care about whether I had problems or not. It seemed like he just wanted to get to the next patient. Also he had some people shadowing him which is fine, but I would have liked a heads up from the nurse saying like Just in case, the doctor might have a few students with him today. Because it felt cramped, and honestly if he was showing them how to do clinic, I’m not sure I wanna go to the clinics any of those student go to.

There was a mix-up in scheduling, as Dr. Owen did not regularly perform the treatment I needed, on Wednesdays. Nonetheless, since I was there and did not make the mistake, Dr. Owen VERY GRACIOUSLY offered to give me the Guided Injection in my hip, which I so needed, as I had been in severe pain for a month. I am very grateful to Dr. Owen for seeing and treating me with so much kindness. Dr. Owens staff was also very kind and caring. I am feeling better today and can't thank them enough. Also Dr. Owen was able to use my procedure as a teaching event for three medical students, who were also very kind and respectful of my dignity. I will most certainly recommend Dr. Owen and his staff for anyone who needs his area of expertise in the future.

He was very kind. My knee is still killing me though. I have many questions that I will call back with tomorrow. The shot did not work. He said I have osteoarthritis and degenerative meniscus tear. I didn’t think meniscus tears could be seen on x-rays. He said go back to normal activities tomorrow. I thought rest for 6 weeks until it heals was best. He didn’t really talk about ice or anything. He said something about PT but I’m not sure if it is going to be scheduled or if we are waiting until my 4 week visit. Sorry. I should’ve asked these questions while there. I know I’m not a doctor but I just don’t trust this diagnosis. I rested my leg for 2 days after hiking and walking most of the day for 3 days last week, then I shopped for several hours yesterday and the little bit that it had calmed down was lost. I will not go to business as usual tomorrow as suggested. I will continue to wear the brace bc my knee feels like it’s going to explode w/o it.

He was great. Explained the procedure in detail in a way that anyone medical or or otherwise could understand. The procedure that had only a hint of pain took less than 5 minutes on a patient that has a big fear of needles. He was extremely professional. I would consider having the procedure again.

I came in pain and left in pain. All I was given was an nsaid and told to come do therapy bu guess I will continue to look for a doctor who cares about me specifically and really want to help. He even made the comment about talking Norco and it didn't help his pain when he had a tooth ache. So how is an Nsaid going to help severe Achilles tendinitis ans osteoarthritis pain. Pain that's so bad I can't sleep at night. He may have helped others but not me. And he thought I would do therapy with campbell clinic no way. He also attempted to do a procedure before numbing me with a topical anesthetic I'm a registered nurse I know how things should be down in the Healthcare setting. It sucks that we pay insurance and then have to pay the doctor. And get no relief. I'm pretty sure this won't get published or looked into. But as of now. Campbell clinic is a NO for me.
