Dr. Wesley A. Hardgrove, M.D., is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist who sees patients at our offices. He practices with Proliance Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. Board-certified in PM&R, he earned his medical degree from the University of South Carolina, completed his residency at Atrium Health, and underwent interventional spine fellowship training at Wake Forest Baptist. He specializes in non-operative neck, back, and musculoskeletal care.

Dr. Wesley A. Hardgrove, M.D., specializes in non-operative management of neck and back disorders and is passionate about keeping patients moving, whether their goal is continuing in sporting activities or simply maintaining their independence. His approach to care is patient-centered and prioritizes the development of customized treatment plans to manage symptoms and improve quality of life. He also works closely with Proliance spine surgeons to facilitate surgical consultations if symptoms persist after conservative measures have been exhausted.
Dr. Hardgrove earned his medical degree at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Greenville, SC, and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Atrium Health Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, NC. He then completed a fellowship in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, where he completed more than 1000 fluoroscopically-guided injections and participated in research related to the prediction of lumbar radiofrequency ablation (RFA) outcomes.
