Dr. Wesley A. He has special interests in outpatient total joint replacement, minimally invasive surgery, rapid recovery, patient-specific surgery, direct anterior hip replacement, partial knee replacement as well as revision hip and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Clark has been in practice since 2013 and he is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He attended Auburn University and LSU school of Medicine in New Orleans. He then completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Tulane University and fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, the Clinical Orthopaedic Society, International Congress for Joint Reconstruction, Louisiana Orthopaedic Association, Greater New Orleans Orthopaedic Society, Louisiana State Medical Society and Jefferson Parish Medical Society.

He explained the surgery to me very well .
Dr Clark listened to my all concerns and came up with a plan of action to address my situation. I was seen promptly and was “in and out” in no time, that’s something very important to me.
Kind, let me know what was going on with my knee. Forget to ask him to show me the X-rays. Would have appreciated an offer, but will ask for them at the next appointment.
Dr.Clark and the staff at Southern Orthopedics provided my husband with excellent care for his fractured humerus. He also has Alzheimer’s and is non verbal, and Dr. Clark and the staff were so kind and accommodating. I am very grateful.
