Dr. Allison has been with Advanced ENT & Allergy since 2010. He is board-certified in adult/pediatric otolaryngology and facial plastic surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology. He truly enjoys and is proficient in all aspects of the ear, nose, and throat. His love for children and pediatric care is a large reason he chose this specialty, and as a parent, he knows how stressful it can be to have a sick child. He has a special interest in the medical and surgical management of sinus disease, and he fully understands the importance of addressing allergies as an underlying component of these problems. He is one of few ENT physicians in the area who has completed sub-specialty training/ certification to achieve fellow status in the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. He is fully certified and proficient in all forms of minimally invasive office-based nose/sinus procedures without the need for general anesthesia. He is certified and regularly performs in-office balloon sinuplasty, turbinate reductions, Vivaer procedure (for nasal valve collapse), and Rhinaer procedure (for chronic nasal drainage). Other areas of interest include the diagnosis and surgical management of thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland disorders. He is American College of Surgeons certified in head and neck ultrasound diagnosis and fine needle aspiration. Comprehensive airway and sleep evaluations for both snoring and sleep apnea are also a big component of his practice.
Dr. Allison is a firm believer in taking the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and perspectives in deciding on a mutually agreeable and effective plan for that patient’s care.
Though he was raised in Oklahoma and is still a diehard “Sooner”, Dr. Allison fell in love with the Louisville area and currently enjoys cheering on U of L Cardinal athletics throughout the year. His first love is his family – he and his wife Angela are proud parents of two girls. In his spare time, he also enjoys live music, working out, traveling, and skiing.

Took no time with me. Never sat down in exam room. Skimmed medical records I provided. Made a tunnel vision diagnosis that wasn’t even mentioned in my medical records. Hope he was just having a bad day and y this is not his normal treatment of patients.
It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Allison. He’s very thorough and friendly.
Good customer service, good wait time and problem solved fast 😉🖤😏
Super nice willing to work with me
Our appointment was for 10:10, we wasn't seen until 11:25
Excellent
I had the RhinAir procedure done yesterday in office. He was very professional and explained every step of the process. I have been waiting to have this done for awhile. Just praying this helps with my allergy problems. He said that most of patients that's had it done are very pleased with the outcome. So looking forward to tge recovery process and seeing the results too! He is the best ENT doctor
He is a concerning doctor that cares about his patients.
Very professional, made me feel heard, understood, and taken care of.
I received tons of reminders. On the day before and of, four more and on computer. I went extra early thinking maybe I should. I was wrong. 45 minutes early, waited 55 more past my appointment. Told them I had a doctor appt at 12:15 and I would have to leave. He walked in and said I was great and not to come back for two years. That was it. Could have saved my valuable time and told me over the phone. I feel he is out for more money from visits. They told me at the desk he doesn’t call patients. Of course not. He wants that office visit money.
