He specializes in sports medicine, minimally invasive surgery, arthroscopy and complex replacements of the shoulder, hip and knee. His expertise is in performing shoulder, hip and knee arthroscopic and replacement surgeries. His practice encompasses all disease processes of these large joints. Focusing in this manner allows him to offer experienced care and the knowledge to choose the best procedure tailored for each individual patient. His practice has an emphasis on arthroscopic surgery and joint replacement surgery. Patients may have confidence that he has performed thousands of these procedures. Traumatic injuries such as fractures are included in his expertise. He is also experienced with all manner of new procedures afforded by advancements in computer imaging and navigation. In addition, Dr. Brooks provides the full breadth of non-surgical treatment of these conditions. He is delighted to treat many office based orthopedic problems as well. His philosophy of care is a commitment to his patients and their families to deliver outcomes that are exceptional. He strives to understand his patients’ concerns, educate them about their treatment options and tailor their care to meet their individual goals.
He was recently recognized as the “Physician of the Year” by the Pardee Hospital Foundation. This honor was bestowed upon him to acknowledge his accomplishments and outstanding orthopedic expertise.
In his free time, Dr. Brooks enjoys biking, hiking, traveling and spending time with his family. He has lived in Hendersonville for over 20 years.
