I’m still relatively new to Dr. Shen however, my experiences have been wonderful. He genuinely seems concerned for my health and well-being when he speaks to me. He is very direct and very concise with his advice, which makes it easy to follow him if you are unsure about something. He also is very good at listening to what I have to say if I do have a concern. Even when I have an overwhelming amount of issues, he is very good at dissecting what I say and coming up with a plan for how to handle things. He formulates the next steps to take and helps guide me in the right direction. I don’t know what more I can ask for in a primary care doctor!

The visit with him exhibited no pressure from him to shuffle me out the door to see additional patients as management prescribes.

He served as an endocrinology fellow at Shanghai Second Medical University and as a research fellow in medical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Dr. Shen also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in human genetics at the University of Pennsylvania and one in antimicrobials and host defense at GlaxoSmithKline. He has been board-certified in Internal Medicine since 2007.
Dr. Shen is an animal lover and avid gardener. He is especially pleased to be affiliated with Redeemer Health and our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. He speaks Mandarin (Chinese) and English.
