I was late because traffic was stopped on busyelton doctor was very rude. I am a veteran with ptsd This was my first visit with him when I tried to explain my med history he said because I was late he didn't have time to hear me out and my experience with the VA did interest him and he walked out of the room.

Dr. Shen is always so helpful, kind and supportive. He listened to the concerns of his patients and does his best to provide them with the best treatment, support and information. He has been a doctor with whom I have become comfortable with sharing my experiences, questions and concerns with and he has been able to provide me with some insight into how to improve the situation. I always say that if you can not be honest with your doctor, then what is the point in having one!? They can help, but you have to be honest! I will be sad to see him retire. It will be bitter sweet. Congratulations on your retirement, Doctor Shen !

He served as an endocrinology fellow at Shanghai Second Medical University and as a research fellow in medical oncology at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Dr. Shen also completed a postdoctoral fellowship in human genetics at the University of Pennsylvania and one in antimicrobials and host defense at GlaxoSmithKline. He has been board-certified in Internal Medicine since 2007.
