He injected fm the top of my eye which led to more discomfort for 2 days vice side injection which is better in about 4 hours. I hope I don't have his services again.

Doesn’t seem like he’s caring enough or really worried idk

I normally see Dr. Patel, but he was out. This doctor never reviewed my chart before seeing me. Asked me who diagnose condition and who prescribed the medication for it. Eluding to who ever diagnosed me had no clue what they were doing. He was Very dry and had no bedside manner. I was very disappointed as I left with even more questions and no answers.

I was very pleased with the excellent eye examination I received from Dr. Samara. He was professional, caring and careful examining my eye. I feel confident that I am in good hands with him as my eye doctor

I thought overall the service was good however, the wait time was a little bit long and the method of calling the next patient was a little bit awkward. The doctor was very friendly and efficient.

I had a 10:45am one-day post opt appointment and I didn't get out until 12:45pm. The doctor finally came in, looked at my eye for a few seconds, then took what sounded like a call from a sales person and then spent maybe one more minute looking at my eye. Not impressed with the doctor or his schedule. The assistant that first looked at me was very efficient.

There is little discussion of vision issues between MD and patient. Everything at the clinic is all about numbers and getting people in, seen, and out the door.

Dr. Samara was pleasant, prompt, and efficient in administering my husband’s treatment, was knowledgeable of his medications, and answered questions about his prognosis and posible medication interactions the Kenalog 40 might have with medications recommended by my husband’s dermatologist for his psoriatic arthritis.

Very quick talker and sometimes cut me off in conversation answering before I could finish questioning. Otherwise he was great.

Dr. Samara is a great doctor

Allowed a dementia patient that has documentation by physician she's not competent to decide whether or not to treat her vein occlusion when her daughter is her HPOA. Did not check eye pressure after the injection and eye didn't look good afterwards....

I feel pain with the injection more so now than months before. No discussion time as too much going on. Feels like a cattle drive in office process.

Went the extra mile to correct a tear in the retina in the office hopefully alleviating the need for surgery.

Didn’t greet me as a new patient. Did t tell me what to expect as to how HE does the procedure. Walked out the door a for a long period of time not telling me he was giving me extra time for the numbing to work

Very friendly, but left office not knowing what to expect from my procedure. Was a Friday and I would have liked to have someone answer some questions.

Dr Samara is a great specialist and has excellent bedside manner, always calm, listening and thorough. I also appreciate how medical and administrative staff at Taylor Retina Center approach patients, always kind, friendly and helpful.

Don't have anything else planed for the whole day because he doesn't care about your time see you when he is ready disentangle matter what your appointment time is or was DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR AT ALL

this was my first visit here, so I was a little bit more nervious. Everything went well, but I did experience more soreness later in the day than normal.

My eye was sore for 2-3 days afterward. Visiion was extremely blurry as well. I've had probably a dozen Eyelea shots from two other doctor with no problems at all.,

Communicaton was stilted and the information initially provided was limited. He did answer questions so the examination results were finally clear.

Even though it’s not my life’s ambition, to have injections in my eye, he makes this very easy. Period.

First time I have had discomfort for over 24 hours. Still feel some discomfort of the left eye at 3 PM Tues. Eye continues to drain copious tears. I think you overdo the pain killer procedure prior to injection.

My appointment ran 2 1/2 hours behind. While I realize it was most likely not the doctors fault, that length of time waiting is extremely rude. If I were that late, I would not be seen or, worse, I’d be charged a fee. Do better, Taylor! Samara, on the other hand, is great. Friendly, efficient and personable.

Dr. Samara was better than the physician who did this procedure years ago on both eyes when I had cataract surgery. Dr. Samara is thorough and personable. A is a very good doctor. I was apprised of the after-effects of the injection and what to do for certain symptoms. This is only day two and the floaters are gone and I am seeing what seems clearer out of the eye that needed the injection. Highly recommend Dr. Samara. I can wait to see him for the next injection but have no hesitation about when it comes time, he being the one to tend to my eye injection.

Dr. Samara is low key and provides a reassuring presence as he discusses your medical issues during the visit. He always says to call if there are changes in my vision. Call immediately he will say.

Absolutely knows what he’s doing as well as his staff

This was my first experience with Dr. Samara. I have monthly injections in both eyes and usually my eyes have a lot of floaters, some of which are bloody, and my eyes are swollen and somewhat painful making it difficult to see. The effects usually last until the next day. I had none of these effects after Dr. Samara's injections. I could hardly tell that I had any injections at all. I don't know whether he had a different technique or if it was just the luck of the draw. Also his assistant rinsed my eyes differently which may have contributed to the lack of swelling. As my comments indicate, I was very pleased with my experience with Dr. Samara.

Last two tx felt pain and left with blood in eye! In five years of tx never felt pain and had blood in eye once before
